FAQs
What is Giclee Printing?
Giclée (pronounced "zhee-clay") printing is a high-resolution inkjet printing process that uses archival pigment inks to create fine art prints with exceptional detail, vibrant colors, and remarkable longevity.
Giclée prints are known for their museum-quality and are highly resistant to fading, making them ideal for preserving art reproductions and printed editions for generations to come.
What is the turnaround time for my prints?
We aim to have orders printed, trimmed and packed out for delivery withing 4 - 5 business days.
You can keep track of your orders here.
What printing machine will my Giclee prints be produced on?
We use state-of-the-art printers to produce our Giclée and Fine Art Digital prints. Both professional-grade printers are renowned for their exceptional image quality, color accuracy and ability to capture fine details.
Our printers use between 6 - 12 ink systems to achieve an especially wide colour gamut. This makes sure that the details of your artwork and photography are accurately and vibrantly reproduced.
Will my Giclee prints be on eco-friendly FSC paper?
Yes, absolutely! We are committed to sustainability and use FSC®-certified fine art papers for all our prints. This certification ensures that the paper comes from responsibly managed forests that meet strict environmental and social standards.
Can I order a custom print size?
We've carefully selected a range of standard print sizes that are perfect for most artwork and framing needs. These popular sizes offer a great balance of versatility and affordability. By focusing on these standard sizes, we can streamline our production process, reduce waste and keep costs down for all our customers.
However, we understand the need for flexibility. For larger, bespoke orders with custom sizes, please get in touch with us for a quote.
Do I have to pay before I can upload my print files?
No, you don't have to pay upfront to upload your artwork files. You can upload your files, select your desired print options (size, paper type + quantity) and review your order in the checkout before proceeding to make payment.
Which file types can I upload?
We accept the following high-resolution file formats:
• JPEG (.jpg)
• PDF (.pdf)
For optimal print quality, please ensure your files are at least 300 dpi (dots per inch) and in the sRGB color space.
